Dietmar Schabus

Dietmar Schabus is a Principal Applied Scientist at Veritone Labs since May 2023, specializing in voice engineering. Previous experience includes roles as a Data Scientist & IT Strategy at Wiener Stadtwerke GmbH from August 2018 to March 2023, and as a Lecturer at Fachhochschule Technikum Wien from February 2018 to March 2022. Additionally, Dietmar served as a Researcher at the Austrian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence and the Telecommunications Research Center Vienna from 2015 to 2018 and 2009 to 2015, respectively. Dietmar's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Graz and various degrees in Computer Science from Technische Universität Wien and Drexel University.
