Alex de Melo

Alex De Melo has extensive experience in technology management, product development, and project management, currently serving as Associate Director at Verizon since March 2018. In addition to this role, Alex functions as a Technology Manager and Chief of Staff for the VP of Device Technology. Alex has held a Lecturer position at Northwestern University since November 2014, teaching risk management and project management courses. Previous leadership roles include Managing Director at SIDIA - Samsung Instituto de P&D da Amazônia and Director of Software Experiences & Cloud Computing at Motorola Mobility. With a strong educational background that includes an Executive MBA from Northwestern University and multiple master's degrees in project management and mobile communications, Alex possesses significant expertise in overseeing large teams and managing complex technology projects.
