Julie Slattery Balsamo

Julie Slattery Balsamo is an accomplished telecommunications executive with extensive experience at Verizon, serving in various senior leadership roles since 2003, including Senior Vice President of Core Engineering and Operations. Balsamo oversees Verizon's Global Wireline Network Operations, managing a workforce of over 4,000 employees across 246 countries. Previous roles include executive leadership in customer care, enterprise provisioning, and US West operations. Prior to Verizon, Balsamo worked at Bell Atlantic as a Senior Staff Consultant and Team Leader, focusing on wholesale operations and network management. Balsamo holds a Master's degree in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University.
