Madison Degrezia

Madison DeGrezia is a software engineer currently serving as a Thrive Apprentice at Verizon since March 2025 and as a member of Rewriting the Code since January 2025. Madison previously gained experience as a software engineer intern at Pixida, where a YOLOv8-based object detection system was developed to improve pedestrian safety. Other notable roles include software engineer resident at NYC Tech Talent Pipeline, Bloomberg Tech Lab Fellow, higher tech tutor for the Research Foundation of CUNY, facilitator at Girls Who Code, web/mobile app developer intern at Tech Incubator at Queens College, and software engineer intern at LinkedIn. Madison earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York from August 2020 to May 2024.
