Dan Ji

Dan Ji is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Verkada since December 2022, Dan heads the Command Connector and Camera Enterprise projects. Previous roles include Software Engineering Manager and Staff Software Engineer at Argo AI, where Dan led the development of an AV emergency braking system and initiated efforts on GPU inference and image processing. Dan's earlier experience includes a Senior Software Engineer position at Intel Corporation, focusing on GPU performance optimization, and a Component Design Engineer role. Dan also contributed to research as a visiting student at UC Davis. Educational qualifications include a Leadership and Negotiation Academy for Women certificate from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master’s in Computer Engineering from Cornell University, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University.
