Shobha Mittal

Shobha Mittal has held various roles in the field of quality assurance and compliance. Shobha is currently the Director of Quality and Compliance at Verland Foundation since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice Chair of Education & Webinar QMD at ASQ - World Headquarters starting from September 2020. Shobha also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work starting from January 2021. Their previous experience includes roles such as Manager of Quality Assurance at LIFE Pittsburgh (2018-2022), Director of Program Quality and Compliance at Familylinks, Inc. (2017-2018), and Director of Quality at Allegheny County DHS, Area Agency on Aging (2013-2017). Before that, they worked as a Quality Manager at Wesley Spectrum Services (2011-2013) and as a Research & Evaluation Specialist at Pressley Ridge (2005-2010).

Shobha Mittal obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from ISABELLA THOBURN P.G. COLLEGE and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in English & Social Studies from Annamalai University. Shobha also holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from the Department of Public Administration Lucknow University India. Additionally, they have certifications as a Certified Investigator from the PA Department of Human Services ODP and as a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (ASQ) from ASQ - World Headquarters. Shobha also holds a certification as a Certified Quality Manager from the PA Department of Human Services ODP.
