John Duncan

John Duncan has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. John has held various positions in different companies since 2010, including Director, CFO, Non-Executive Director, and Investor. In 2019, they worked as a Finance Director at Dxcover and also founded and directed Alba Equity. In 2021, they became the Finance Director at Wobble Genomics and a Non-Executive Director at Thorpe Molloy McCulloch Recruitment Ltd. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Consultant at McIntosh Plant Hire (Aberdeen) Ltd and worked as an Interim Finance Director at Axis Well Technology. Additionally, they held part-time Finance Director positions at Edwards Engineering (Perth) Limited from 2017 to 2019 and at Fathom Systems Ltd. from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they hold the role of CFO at Verlume.

John Duncan attended Ellon Academy from 1986 to 1991. John then pursued Chartered Accountancy at ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs from 1997 to 2000.
