Chris Misterek

Chris Misterek has extensive experience in quality management and process improvement. Chris is currently the Director of Operational Quality at Vermeer Corporation. Prior to this, they worked at John Deere for over 20 years, where they held various roles including Global Process & Quality Manager and Project Manager. In these positions, they led quality initiatives, managed global factories and personnel, and implemented quality improvement strategies. Before joining John Deere, Chris worked as a Chief Metallurgist and Metallurgical Engineer at North Star Steel Company.

Chris Misterek obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology from 1994 to 1998. In addition, they hold certifications as an Executive Data Scientist from Coursera/Johns Hopkins University, and as a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) from ASQ - World Headquarters, obtained in June 2008.
