Jim Sachs

Jim Sachs has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Jim is currently working at Vermeer Corporation as the Director of Engineering - Intelligent Systems. In this role, Jim is responsible for leading an enterprise department of system, electrical component and harness, and embedded software engineering teams. Jim focuses on delivering new and innovative automation and control solutions for various industries.

At Ford Motor Company, Jim served in several roles, including Electrical Engineering Supervisor, where they led a team of engineers and suppliers, and was responsible for electrical content in vehicle components. Jim also worked as an Electrical Launch Leader, leading a team of engineers and managing multiple suppliers.

Jim started their career at Lockheed Martin as a System Software Engineer, focusing on system software development.
