Govert Klop

Govert Klop is an experienced drilling superintendent with a robust background in the oil and gas industry, currently serving at Vermilion Energy since October 2013, focusing on onshore gas and oil well development, exploration, and appraisal. Previous roles include drilling superintendent positions at Union Fenosa Gas E&P and BHP Billiton, as well as senior drilling engineer roles at OGS and Delta Hydrocarbons. Klop began the career at Deutag GmbH as a trainee engineer, eventually advancing to rig superintendent. Klop holds a bachelor's degree in drilling engineering from Noorderhaaks, completed in 1995.
