Chris Blair

Chris Blair is an experienced drilling and completion superintendent specializing in deepwater operations, currently employed at TotalEnergies since August 2017, with prior roles as Rig Site Leader and Drilling Supervisor. Previous experience includes serving as a Drilling Supervisor and Night Drilling Supervisor at Maersk Oil, and roles at Shell as a Life Cycle Well Engineer, Night Drilling Supervisor, and Well Site Drilling Engineer, where contributions included well design and deepwater drilling projects. Chris also worked as a Contract Controller for Vallourec Mannesmann Oil and Gas UK and began a career in engineering as a Student Well Engineer at Shell. Educational qualifications include a BEng in Mechanical Engineering with Management from the University of Aberdeen and a BA in Law & Management from Robert Gordon University.
