Catherine Markesich

Catherine Markesich is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in public health and education. Currently serving as the Grants Manager at the Vermont Department of Health since April 2021, Catherine brings extensive project management experience from previous roles, including a Project Manager position at the University of Vermont, where a multi-site research study in Tobacco Regulatory Science was overseen. In addition to academic contributions, Catherine has been a Mathematics Tutor since January 2005 and previously taught math at Weymouth High School. Catherine also holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and European Studies from Yale University. Furthermore, Catherine has experience as a Triathlon Coach, working with athletes of varying skill levels and youth teams in South Korea.
