Helen Reid, MPH, currently serves as Division Director for Laboratory Sciences and Infectious Disease and Health Surveillance at the Vermont Department of Health, overseeing a team of 120 employees and a $20 million budget. With extensive leadership experience in public health, Reid has previously held positions as Chief Operations Officer at the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement and Vice President of Health Center Operations at Planned Parenthood of Northern New England. Notable initiatives include the implementation of a strategic plan focused on health equity and the management of laboratory operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Reid's educational background includes a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan and a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
