Jae Basiliere, Ph.D., currently serves as the Public Health Workforce Director at the Vermont Department of Health, a position held since December 2023. Previously, Jae was the Chief Diversity Officer at Vermont State University from July 2022 to July 2023, and the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Northern Vermont University from February 2021 to July 2022. Jae holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Gender Studies from Indiana University Bloomington, a Master of Arts in Global Gender Studies from the University at Buffalo, and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from Wells College.
