Injury Prevention Specialist (public Health Specialist Ii) at Vermont Department of Health

Julia Sarrasin, MPH, currently works as an Injury Prevention Specialist at the Vermont Department of Health and is a member of the Quantitative Public Health Sciences Committee at the University of Vermont. Experience includes an internship with the Vermont Public Health Association where Julia planned the 2024 National Public Health Week Campaign, and a role as a Community Health Worker at the Epilepsy Foundation New England, supporting individuals affected by epilepsy. Academic contributions include serving as a Head Teaching Assistant and a Lead Teaching Assistant for public health courses at the University of Vermont, and conducting research on youth cessation promotion with Building a Positive Community. Julia holds a Master's degree in Public Health from The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and a Bachelor's degree in Health & Society from the University of Vermont.
