Shari Levine

Information Director For Maternal And Child Health at Vermont Department of Health

Shari Levine serves as the Information Director for Family and Child Health at the Vermont Department of Health since February 2015, overseeing communications for the Maternal and Child Health Division, including health education and behavior change initiatives. Prior to this role, Shari was the Information Director for Infectious Disease, developing health promotion programs. Shari also has extensive experience as a freelance writer, contributing over 50 health and wellness articles and a monthly parenting column for the Burlington Free Press from 2006 to 2013. Previous roles include Public Health Educator at the Vermont Department of Health and General Faculty at the University of Virginia, where Shari coordinated health education programs. Shari holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from the University of Vermont.
