Tanya Wells is an experienced professional in health promotion and program management, currently serving as the Tobacco Control Program Manager at the Vermont Department of Health since June 2012. With a robust background that includes roles such as Injury Prevention Chief and Child Passenger Safety Program Coordinator, Tanya has demonstrated expertise in grant administration, program coordination, and staff supervision. Prior experience includes positions at the University of Vermont as a Tobacco Cessation Counselor, Georgia State University as a Wellness Program Specialist, and various roles in health education and wellness program development across multiple organizations. Tanya holds a Master’s degree in Health Promotion and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech.
