Skyler Genest

Skyler Genest has extensive experience in military and law enforcement roles, currently serving as an ARNG Honor Guard and certified Level 1 Military Funeral Honors member for the Vermont Army National Guard since September 2022. In addition, Skyler holds the position of Operations Non-Commissioned Officer and Sergeant First Class while interning in youth ministry at Redeeming Grace Church, engaging approximately 30 adolescents in Christian programming. Previously, Skyler held leadership roles in the Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery, including Chief/Senior Director of Licensee Operations and Director of Compliance & Enforcement, alongside experience as a Patrol Officer in Winooski and various positions at the University of Vermont. Skyler earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Police Science and an Associate’s Degree from American Military University and has continued education at multiple institutions, including the University of Vermont.
