Katey Beaton

Katey Beaton is a seasoned consultant at VEIC since January 2020, having progressed from Analyst to Senior Analyst. Prior experience includes an internship at Green Mountain Transit, where responsibilities included developing a facility energy efficiency plan to reduce energy usage. Katey also served as Data Manager for Jack Hanson’s City Council Campaign, overseeing data management and volunteer organization. Academic endeavors at the University of Vermont involved acting as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, while earlier internships focused on water quality analysis at Watershed Consulting Associates, and research assistance in medicinal chemistry at Epigen Biosciences. Katey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Ecology from the University of Vermont Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources in 2018.
