Rebecca Foster

Rebecca Foster has been working in the energy efficiency industry for over 20 years. Rebecca started their career as a volunteer teacher with the Peace Corps in July 1999. After their time with the Peace Corps, they became a Principal Program Manager at the Consortium for Energy Efficiency in March 2000. In February 2011, they joined VEIC as the Director of Consulting. In October 2018, they were promoted to CEO of Vermont Energy Investment Corporation. Rebecca has been instrumental in growing new opportunities for energy savings, including connected devices, zero energy modular homes, upstream programs, pay for performance programs, and transportation efficiency. Rebecca has provided senior-level advice and oversight of consulting projects for clients including the American Public Power Association, Sacramento Municipal Utility District, Pacific Gas & Electric, Hawaii Energy, the New Jersey Clean Energy Program, Consolidated Edison, the Department of Energy, and the Iowa Office of Consumer Advocate.

Rebecca Foster has a Masters in Business Administration from Simmons University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston University.
