Vermont Foodbank
Kate Steward is a seasoned professional in grant management and volunteer services with extensive experience in the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Grants at Vermont Foodbank since January 2018, Kate has held multiple roles, including Volunteer Services and Community Philanthropy Manager and Volunteer Services Coordinator. Prior experience includes positions at Vermont Technical College as Circulation Coordinator for Hartness Library and roles with AmeriCorps VISTA, where responsibilities encompassed supporting community service members and managing various volunteer initiatives. Kate’s background also features roles in library services and outreach, including grant writing and event planning for Cobleigh Public Library, in addition to earlier experiences in academia and youth tutoring. Academically, Kate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Anthropology, Psychology, and Writing from Sarah Lawrence College.
