Kristin Thayer

Kristin Thayer has a diverse work experience. Kristin is currently working at Vermont Smoke & Cure since September 2021 as the Director of Operations and Supply Chain, as well as a Plant Coordinator. Prior to that, they worked at Johnsonville from 2017 to 2021, holding positions such as Production Coordinator and Team Lead of Production Support. In 2016, they were an Operations Manager at Footbeat. From 2007 to 2016, they worked at Johnsonville Sausage as a Team Lead. Lastly, they served in the United States Army Reserve as a Military Police from 2001 to 2009.

Kristin Thayer earned a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan between 2000 and 2006. In addition to their formal education, Kristin Thayer has also obtained certifications in Lean Leadership from Optima in May 2019 and a National Career Readiness Certification (Gold) in March 2014.
