Dominique O'Connor is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in food security, environmental education, and project management. Currently serving as the Food and Nourishment Project Lead at the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps since March 2023, Dominique previously held the role of Food Security and Resilience Intern at CARE, where responsibilities included conducting research, proofreading strategic reports, and providing technical support to teams in West Africa. With a background in eco-tourism as Marina Assistant Manager and Program Coordinator at Gill Dawg Marina, Dominique developed a children's adventure learning program. Additionally, experience includes outreach for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service focused on Monarch conservation, and roles in customer service and camp counseling. Dominique holds a Master of Science in Environment and Development from the University of Leeds and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida.
