Karsten Löwik

Process Engineer at Vernay Laboratories, Inc.

Karsten Löwik's work experience started in 2006 with an internship at GB Metaal & Kunststoffen. From 2007 to 2012, they completed internships at various companies including Aeronamic B.V., Enrichment Technology, and Technology Unlimited BV. In 2013, they worked as a Graduate Student at VDL Enabling Technologies Group, where they analyzed the goods receiving process and implemented Lean principles. In 2014, they worked as a Graduate Student again at VDL Enabling Technologies Group, this time analyzing the Parts department. Later that year, they joined Vernay as a (junior) Process Engineer, responsible for quality control, analyzing risks, and implementing Lean manufacturing principles.

Karsten Löwik began their education at ROC van Twente te Hengelo from 2006 to 2010, where they studied Werktuigbouwkunde. Following this, they attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Finally, Karsten pursued a Kopstudie Technische Bedrijfskunde (BK-5) program at Saxion Hogeschool Enschede from 2013 to 2014, completing their education with another Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree.
