Hildegard van Zyl

Hildegard van Zyl has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Hildegard is currently working as the General Counsel at Verne Global since December 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Legal Counsel (Team Lead) at Atos from November 2020 to December 2022. Before joining Atos, Hildegard worked at Amazon, where they held two corporate counsel roles. Hildegard served as the Corporate Counsel (Digital - Prime Video) from February 2017 to December 2019 and as the Corporate Counsel (EU Operations) from September 2015 to February 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate at Baker McKenzie from September 2011 to July 2015 and at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from October 2008 to June 2011.

Hildegard van Zyl completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Philosophy and French at Stellenbosch University from 2002 to 2004. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they pursued further education at Stellenbosch University and obtained an LLB degree in Law.
