Tom Disney

Tom Disney has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Tom currently works as the Controller at Verona Pharma since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Sr. Director, Controller at StrideBio, Inc from May 2022 to March 2023. From August 2020 to May 2022, they held the role of Director, SEC Reporting at Vontier, a global company focused on transportation. Before that, they were the Sr. Manager of Financial Reporting at PRA Health Sciences from March 2019 to August 2020. Tom also gained experience at PwC, where they worked as an Assurance Manager from January 2018 to March 2019, an Assurance Senior Associate from January 2016 to December 2017, and an Experienced Assurance Associate from September 2013 to December 2015. Tom also worked as an Accounting 231 Instructor for a brief period at Arizona State University in July 2013. Tom started their career as an Assurance Intern at PwC in June 2012 and gained further experience as an Assurance and Tax Intern at CliftonLarsonAllen from January 2012 to June 2012. Additionally, they served as a Summer Extern at Deloitte in May 2012. Tom holds a Masters of Accountancy degree from Arizona State University, where they also served as the Graduate Advisory Board Director for the Masters of Accountancy program.

Tom Disney's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Tom attended this school from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Longmont High School from 2004 to 2008. Tom Disney has also obtained additional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant in both North Carolina and Arizona. Tom obtained the certification from the NCCPA in October 2016 and from the Arizona State Board of Accountancy in June 2015.
