Darius Bozorgi, president and chief executive officer for Veros Real Estate Solutions (Veros), is a national leader in valuation technology, predictive analytics and decision-support technology applications. Under his leadership, Veros has earned recognition as one of the top financial services technology companies and is perennially selected as one of HousingWire’s Top Mortgage Technology Companies. In 2010, Veros was named the recipient of Mortgage Technology Magazine's 2010 Synergy Award for technological innovations in the mortgage industry and the 2014 Transforming Valuations Award for Veros' achievements in property valuations. Bozorgi has served on the boards of directors for the Real Estate Information Professionals Association and was a founding member and chairman of the Collateral Assessment Technologies Committee. He is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Risk Management & Quality Assurance and Mortgage Analytics committees. Mr. Bozorgi has helped transform U.S. Housing Finance through the transmission of standardized loan-level data into the Secondary Mortgage Markets leading Veros to be selected as the official technology provider for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s Uniform Collateral Data Portal® (UCDP®), FHA’s Electronic Appraisal Delivery (EAD) portal, as well as the Appraisal Management System (AMS) for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Mr. Bozorgi is frequently asked to speak on current trends in property valuation and practical applications of predictive technology for organizations such as the Mortgage Bankers Association, the American Conference Institute, the Opal Group, the Structured Finance Association, the Predictive Methods Conference, the National Association of Realtors, and the Risk Management Association. He is also called to speak on these issues for media outlets such as Bloomberg, Reuters, CNBC, USA Today and the Wall Street Journal. Bozorgi co-founded Veros in 2001 after spending his early career practicing law. Recognized by his peers, he was the recipient of October Research Corporation's Top 40 under 40 Award and named a 2011 Technology All-Star by Mortgage Banking Magazine for his thought leadership. Darius received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and his undergraduate business degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is also a registered investment advisor for the State of California.
