Jason Bell

Jason Bell has a diverse work experience that spans over several roles and industries. Jason began their career in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Infantry Soldier before transitioning to the technology field.

In their most recent role at Verosoft Design (VSD), they served as the IT Director, where they provided leadership and strategic planning for the IT department. Jason also oversaw the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure and networks. Prior to this, they worked as a Team Lead, managing daily IT operations and designing and implementing customer environments. Jason also had experience as a Network and System Administrator, managing servers, VMware infrastructure, and implementing Microsoft Dynamic Solutions.

Before joining Verosoft Design, Bell worked for EACOM Timber Corporation as an Intermediate System Administrator, responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware and software.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Servier Canada as a Level 2 Technical Support and Junior Network Administrator, providing support to customers and leading a project to migrate the company's operating system.

Overall, Bell has a solid background in IT leadership and operations, systems administration, and technical support, with experience in both the public and private sectors.

Jason Bell attended Vanier College from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a DEC in Computer Science. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at L.H.R.S. Jason has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2012, they earned the CompTIA Security + certification from CompTIA. The following year, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Windows Server 2012 certification from Microsoft. In 2014, Jason achieved the VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV) certification from VMware, as well as the Microsoft Server 2012: Designing and Implementing a Server Infrastructure certification from Microsoft. In 2015, they completed the Microsoft Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions 70-532 certification. Jason continued their certifications in 2016 with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 Installation MB2-711 certification from Microsoft. In 2018, they obtained the Designing and Deploying Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 certification from Microsoft. Throughout 2019, Jason achieved multiple certifications from Microsoft, including the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and AZ-301 Microsoft Azure Architect Design certifications. In 2021, they obtained the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice and most recently, in 2022, Jason obtained the Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate and Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert certifications from Microsoft.
