Jigang Wang

Jigang Wang has extensive experience in analytics, engineering, and product management. Jigang currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Global Engineering at Verra Mobility, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Product Management, Platform and Analytics at Verra Mobility from February 2020 to June 2022. Jigang also held various roles at American Traffic Solutions, including Chief Analytics Officer from December 2015 to May 2018 and VP of Engineering, Chief Scientist from November 2012 to January 2016. Jigang previously worked as a Chief Scientist and Director of Research and Development at Nestor Traffic Systems from June 2005 to September 2009. Jigang started their career as a Partner/Consultant, serving as Chief Scientist from July 2009 to February 2010.

Jigang Wang has a diverse education history. Jigang earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics from Brown University in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Mathematics from Brown University in 2005. Additionally, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Elementary Particle Physics from Brown University in 2003. Before attending Brown University, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics from Peking University from 1998 to 2000. Jigang also holds Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Economics and Physics from Peking University, which they completed from 1994 to 1998.
