Jessica Herfurth

As a Senior Program Officer, Sustainable Development Policy and Markets, Jessica supports Verra’s suite of programs focused on sustainable development through researching new and emerging sustainable development markets, and tracking corporate and commercial engagement on sustainable development.

Jessica is also involved in Verra’s external engagement strategy work, coordinating staff attendance and participation at international conferences and summits.

In her previous role at Verra as Program Officer, Communications and Market Development, Jessica worked on Verra’s website, social media, newsletters, and more.

Jessica received a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Environmental Studies with a focus on population, development, and sustainability. She also holds a master’s degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
