Kranav Sharma

Kranav has close to 9 years of work experience in the fields of energy, environment, and sustainability with an emphasis on supporting and managing carbon offset projects globally. Over the course of his career, he has fulfilled a diverse set of roles (and responsibilities) namely, consultant, auditor, standards developer, and project proponent. Prior to joining Verra, Kranav worked at Gold Standard where he led the development of key elements of the standard’s framework which entailed designing various standard documents and methodologies, engaging with key stakeholders and providing training and capacity building.

Kranav is based in New Delhi, India, and completed postgraduate degrees of Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management (REEM) from TERI School of Advanced Studies (SAS) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics from Curtin University of Technology (Perth). He speaks conversational English and Hindi. Kranav is married, has a passion for amateur astronomy, and loves to travel when possible.
