Betts Gorsky

Betts Gorsky is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Counsel in the Private Clients Group at Verrill since January 2023. Prior to this role, Betts spent over thirty years at Van Meer & Belanger, P.A. as an Attorney. Betts has also held the position of Policy Director for Cutler for Maine during two separate terms from November 2012 to November 2014 and from January 2009 to November 2010. Additionally, Betts worked as a Researcher at the Center for Education Policy at the University of Southern Maine from January 2008 to July 2012. Betts holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stanford University and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New York University School of Law, where studies were completed between 1979 and 1982.
