Shawn Clarke

Shawn Clarke is the Chief Financial Officer at Versa Bank. Shawn has over 20 years of experience in various aviation and engineering roles.

Shawn started their career as a professional pilot, working for various aviation service providers. In 2001, they transitioned into engineering, taking on a role as Senior Research Engineer at McMaster University. Shawn then moved to Siemens Canada, where they worked as an Engineering Project Leader for two years.

In 2005, Shawn joined Discovery Air as Chief Operating Officer, where they oversaw all aspects of the company's operations. Shawn held this role for four years before joining Versa Bank in 2009. Shawn has been with Versa Bank ever since, and they currently lead the organization's finance team.

Shawn Clarke has a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University, a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University, and an MBA in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University.
