Rick MacChio

Rick Macchio is a seasoned technical leader in the network industry with over 20 years of experience. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at Versa Networks since October 2025, Macchio has held various significant roles, including Federal Senior Systems Engineer at Ruckus Networks, CommScope, and ARRIS. Previous positions also include a Senior Systems Engineer at Brocade and a Systems Engineer at Neoteris/Juniper. Macchio's career began at Yurie Systems, which was later acquired by Lucent Technologies. Macchio holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
