Kevin Carmichael

Kevin Carmichael started their work experience in 2001 as a Project Manager at Yaletown Technology Group Inc, where they held multiple roles, including systems analysis, implementation, software development, and project management. Kevin then worked at FileNet as a Project Manager from 2005 to 2006, where they successfully delivered a project for AT&T. In 2006, they joined IBM as a Software Quality Assurance Lead for the IBM FileNet Connector for Microsoft SharePoint. Kevin also worked as a Software Quality Assurance Manager/Lead for IBM Content Collector and later as a Software Quality Assurance Manager for IBM StoredIQ for Legal. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of a Software Developer, focusing on Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) at IBM. Kevin worked in this role until 2020 when they joined VersaFile Inc. as a Software Developer and Quality Assurance Lead.

Kevin Carmichael attended Simon Fraser University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a concentration in Human Resources. Kevin then went on to Thompson Rivers University from 1998 to 2000, where they completed a program in Computer Systems: Operations and Management. In 2004 and 2005, Kevin attended the UBC Sauder School of Business for a Certificate in Project Management.
