Olivia Y.

Olivia Y. has a diverse work experience that includes roles in art direction, product marketing, design research, graphic design, and engineering and innovation. In 2022, they began working as an Art Director for Versed, a Public Benefit Corp. Prior to that, they were an Art Director at VETTA in 2021, where they worked closely with the marketing director to produce launch campaigns and design assets for multiple channels. In 2020, they were a Designer at Season Three, where they contributed to the company's development of their second footwear product, and a Product Marketing professional at Formlabs, where they 3D modeled, validated, and wrote copy for interactive sample parts. Olivia also held a Design Fellow role at the Mayor's Office of New Urban Mechanics in 2020, where they researched the impacts of COVID-19 on existing shelter spaces and homeless programming. In 2019, they were the Editor In Chief and Creative Director at Infinite Magazine, where they authorized final photo edits on all published materials, managed board staff, and mentored over 70 contributors and staff members. Olivia was also a Design Researcher at ELEVEN, A Culture of Design in 2020, where they conducted primary market research, competitive analysis, and interviews for a wearable medical device carrier. In 2019, they were a Graphic Designer at Brain Power, where they created iterations of the company's app and conducted competitive analysis of other educational technology marketing sites. In 2018, they were a Fellow at IDEO CoLab, where they created an interactive prototype of a renewable energy marketplace. Finally, in 2017, they were an Engineering and Innovation professional at the US Army.

Olivia Y. attended Livingston High School from 2012 to 2016 and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2020.
