Chris Govias

Chris Govias has had extensive work experience in the design field. Chris'smost recent position was as the Chief Design Officer at Versett, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Design Officer at Domain7 from August 2021 to May 2022. Chris also worked as a Senior Consultant at Systemscope Inc. from September 2020 to July 2021. Chris held the role of Chief of Design at The Canadian Digital Service from September 2017 to April 2020, and Head of Design (UX, Interaction & Service Design) at the Ministry of Justice UK from March 2016 to March 2017. Before joining these organizations, Chris worked as a freelance designer, providing consultation for various technology companies and startups in areas such as recruitment, information organization, travel, and food/meal delivery. Chris held the position of Design Lead at Expedia, Inc. from May 2013 to May 2015, and Head of Design at Reevoo from March 2010 to April 2013. Prior to their freelance work, they were a Sr. Art Director at Youthography from January 2007 to August 2007. Throughout their career, Chris has been involved in a wide range of design activities, including strategy development, user testing, brand development, copywriting, and visual design.
