Fay Spano

Fay Spano has a diverse range of work experience in communications and public relations. Fay started their career as a news anchor/reporter for WTMJ-AM Radio and later moved to Hearst Corporation as a news director, anchor, and reporter. Fay then transitioned to advertising, working as an Account Executive/PR Coordinator at Hearst Advertising. Fay went on to work as an Account Executive at Bader Rutter & Associates, coordinating media relations efforts for various clients. Fay also held positions at BVK McDonald and the National Funeral Directors Association as an Account Supervisor-PR and Public Relations Director, respectively.

In 2001, Fay joined ASQ (American Society for Quality) as a Senior Mgr. Communications, where they managed a team and directed internal and external communications, public relations, and social media strategies. Fay also led the brand transformation initiative for the organization. After their time at ASQ, Fay joined BloodCenter of Wisconsin as the Director of Public Relations.

Currently, Fay serves as the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Versiti Inc., where they lead media relations and oversees internal and external communications for the company and their affiliate, BloodCenter of Wisconsin. Fay works closely with communication leaders to ensure consistency in corporate identity and image.

Throughout their career, Fay has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic communications skills in various industries and organizations.

Fay Spano holds a B.A. degree in Mass Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
