Matthew Anderson has extensive experience in the field of pathology and laboratory medicine. Matthew is currently the Vice President and Medical Director at Versiti Inc. since May 2017. Prior to that, they held the role of Medical Director, Diagnostic Laboratories at BloodCenter of Wisconsin starting from April 2013. In this position, they provided medical direction to the Diagnostic Laboratories and the Histocompatibility Laboratory. Matthew also focused on advancing patient care through laboratory medicine and genomics, and led clinical collaboration and research initiatives. Before joining BloodCenter of Wisconsin, Matthew worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pathology, Stanford University School of Medicine from July 2011 to April 2013. Matthew also served as an Assistant Director at the Histocompatibility, Immunogenetics and Disease Profiling Laboratory, Stanford Blood Center during the same period. Prior to these positions, they completed fellowships in Molecular Pathology and Hematopathology, as well as a residency in Anatomic Pathology, all at Stanford University Medical Center from 2006 to 2010.
Matthew Anderson received their M.D., Ph.D. in Medicine with a specialization in Molecular Immunology from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Matthew completed this program from 1998 to 2006.
