Jukka Pekka Luiro

Jukka Pekka Luiro is an experienced operations specialist currently working at Versowood since April 2020. Prior to this role, Jukka served as Urakointiesimies at L&T Biowatti Oy from April 2016 to March 2020, and as a bioenergy expert at TAPIO between June 2012 and December 2015, where responsibilities included sustainable energy wood use recommendations and consulting. Jukka also worked as a regional adviser for the Finnish Forest Centre, promoting bioenergy use in Lapland from April 2011 to May 2012, and held a researcher position at both the University of Helsinki and the Finnish Forest Research Institute, focusing on bioenergy and forest nutrient balance. Jukka Pekka Luiro holds a Master of Science degree in Forestry from the University of Helsinki, earned in 2006.
