Angela Pontrello

Angela Pontrello, M.S., MBA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in regulatory affairs and quality control within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs (CMC) at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Angela has previously held positions such as Director of Global Regulatory Sciences (CMC) and Director of Quality Control at Blueprint Medicines. Additional roles have included Associate Director of Quality Control at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals and Project Manager at Norwich Pharmaceuticals, where Angela also served as QC Team Manager and Chemist. Starting a career as a Scientist at PPD, Angela holds an MBA in Health Sector Management from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
