Ayesha Arzumand

Ayesha Arzumand currently serves as Associate Director of Manufacturing Operations at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, starting in August 2024. Prior to this role, Ayesha was a Senior Device Design Control Engineer at scPharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included managing design controls for drug and device combination products. At Takeda, Ayesha led design control deliverables and provided technical leadership for the clinical development and commercialization of implantable devices. Earlier experience at Alcyone Therapeutics Inc. involved core team participation in intrathecal drug delivery platform development and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ayesha's background includes project management, design reviews, and cross-functional collaboration in various medical device projects. Ayesha holds an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, an MS in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, and a degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
