Bote G. Bruinsma

Bote G. Bruinsma, MD PhD, currently serves as the Senior Medical Director of Clinical Development at Vertex Cell and Gene Therapies, following previous roles as Medical Director at both the same division and as the Cystic Fibrosis Global Medical Lead. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Medical Director at Sio Gene Therapies and Vice President of Research & Corporate Development at Organ Solutions. Bote G. Bruinsma has also held significant academic positions, including Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School in Transplant Surgery (Bioengineering) and Director of Operations for the Cell Resource Core at Massachusetts General Hospital. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Experimental Surgery at the University of Amsterdam, Bote G. Bruinsma brings a wealth of experience in both clinical and research settings.
