Connie Bader

Connie Bader is a Process Chemist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since February 2023, with a strong background in chemistry research and education. Previously, Connie served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, focusing on synthesizing and testing medicinal drug targets, particularly in PROTAC development. Prior experience includes developing new organic transformations as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota, along with mentoring undergraduate students during a visiting graduate student position at Hope College. Additionally, Connie held roles as a General Chemistry Lab Assistant and tutor at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MS in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota and a BS in Chemistry from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
