Julie Huxley-Jones

Julie Huxley-Jones currently serves as Vice President of Research, Pre-Clinical, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Data Technology & Engineering at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, overseeing data, technology, and AI initiatives across the organization. Prior to this, Julie held the position of Vice President, Scientific Digital & Tech at GSK, where responsibilities included leading innovation in scientific activities and managing local Digital & Tech operations. Julie has actively contributed to inclusivity as an executive sponsor for the UK Disability Confidence Network and has served on the board for an open innovation community in life sciences. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computational Science and Molecular Biology, alongside a BSc (Hons) in Genetics, both from The University of Manchester. Julie has also played an external supervisory role for postgraduates at Oxford University and the University of Manchester.
