Myriam Mikhael

Myriam Mikhael, Ph.D., is a Research Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since September 2023. Previously, Myriam held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Merck from September 2021 to September 2023. Myriam completed a Doctorate in Organic Chemistry at Temple University between August 2016 and July 2021, following a Master's degree in Petroleum from Lebanese University Faculty of Sciences in 2014-2015 and a Master 1 in Molecular Chemistry from Lebanese University Faculty of Sciences in 2013-2014. Myriam also earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Lebanese University Fanar Section II from 2010 to 2013. Notable research includes the synthesis and characterization of heterogeneous catalysts for alkane metathesis using Surface Organometallic Chemistry during a master's thesis at KAUST in 2015.
