Richard Pineo

Richard Pineo is an experienced engineering professional with a solid background in automation and controls within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Associate Director of Automation Engineering at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since November 2015, Richard has previously held roles as Principal Automation Engineer and Senior Project Engineer at Superior Controls, Inc. Prior work experience includes positions as Control Systems Engineer at EandM and Software Engineer at BMC Software. Richard holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from UMass Boston and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
