Sazzad Hussain

Sazzad Hussain possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Sr. Principal Scientist, CRO Monitor, and Associate Director at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since September 2014. Key responsibilities include supporting CRO management for bioanalytical research and developing outsourcing strategies for global development programs. Prior experience includes a position as Principal Scientist and Manager of Assay Services Laboratory at Biogen Idec, where oversight of method validation and regulatory submissions were key tasks. Sazzad also managed bioanalytical studies at Roche Pharmaceuticals and held various scientific roles at Shionogi Bioresearch. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Technology Management from New Jersey Institute of Technology, an MS in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and an MS in Organic Chemistry from Dhaka University.
