Sebastian Ortiz

Sebastian Ortiz is a professional with a strong background in biotechnology and biochemistry, currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University's Antimicrobial Discovery Center and a Discovery Biology Co-op at Tango Therapeutics. Additionally, Sebastian co-founded Ichosia Biotechnology, Inc., and has held various co-op and intern positions at SQZ Biotechnologies in analytical development. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, both from Northeastern University, as well as a high school diploma from Worcester Academy.
