Sergey Voronov

Sergey Voronov is a seasoned professional in analytical development with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Director of Analytical Development at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since September 2024, Voronov previously held multiple roles, including Scientific Director and Associate Director, at Bristol Myers Squibb from December 2014 to June 2024. Responsibilities at Bristol Myers Squibb included leading method development for protein-based therapeutic agents, managing laboratory project flow, overseeing method qualification and transfer, providing regulatory support for IND and BLA filings, and mentoring a high-performing team of scientists. Prior roles include Project Leader at PrimeraDx, where Voronov contributed to FDA 510(k) submissions, and Post-doctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University Medical Center.
